HOW IT ALL STARTED:
To have you here reading this is in and of itself a miracle to me! I am a author, speaker, part-time pediatric nurse, seminary student, social media manager for my church, and a wife + daughter + friend. You could say I wear a lot of hats - all of which I LOVE + feel so thankful to be called to. 

When graduating nursing school in 2018, I assumed I would "just" be a nurse my whole life. I used to say a lot of "I would never's" and now I am living in some of those "never's"  I quickly realized that you can never (haha) limit what God can do and how He wants to use you.  The Lord has blown my mind in so many ways and now I can't help but share about His goodness and faithfulness. 

All I want my life to be is a reflection of the Lord and to be one that is submitted to His lead. As I do my best in committing to that, my hope and prayer is that you would be encouraged to do so as well! It's way more fun to do hard things together.

WHERE WE'VE COME FROM:
In 2018 I started the @wordsaregolden Instagram account for fun to share encouraging words. Little did I know what the Lord had in store for the years to come. What started as a fun little hobby soon became a book deal and opportunities to share His word with others. 

WHERE WE ARE GOING:
After releasing my 2nd book, walking through a miscarriage, and helping my husband launch a ministry in 2024, I took a 6 month break from Instagram. In that time I found refreshment in the Lord and His word like never before and my goal now is to provide (His) words + resources that wash over people with the refreshment their soul longs for. I'm just following His lead and it could look completely different tomorrow and I'd be okay with that.
